Meet Antoinette Griffin, MA, LPC-Associate

Antoinette Griffin is a LPC-Associate, Supervised by Aimee Thompson, MA, LPC-S & Amy Doar, M.S., LPC-S

I counsel adolescents 13+, adults, couples, and veterans through life challenges in a supportive role. Life is a journey where we are bound to get stuck in situations, like a record with a scratch may require a slight nudge to get back on track. The goal is to help you recognize where you are stuck and provide that nudge.  I offer a safe and trusting environment to process your anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and anger.

My background and experience derive from my 26 years as a military veteran and supervisor, serving in ministry, as a mother to four adult children, and as a grandmother of four. I understand the challenges of marriage and divorce after 31 years.  I have personally experienced and seen others encounter trauma.

I utilize solution-focused, person-centered, and cognitive behavior therapy, offering a variety of approaches. I offer over 30 years of experience with high school and college students, adults, relationships, clergy, grief, and military members. I use a psychological and Christian-integrated approach in counseling. I have a Masters in Counseling from Liberty University. I am a certified facilitator of SYMBIS (Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts) and level 1 certified in Gottman Method Couples Therapy. I graduated from Liberty University with a Master’s degree in Counseling.

Everyone needs someone they trust to vent with and receive healthy ways of dealing with issues. Counseling is not a “one size fits all” solution, so we can work together to help you become the best version of yourself.
